The Boutique Hub is set to launch at the end of August 2014!
There is a certain charm about shopping at a boutique. No two are the same, and something about the unique, alluring ambiance of each store and its styles draws people in and leaves them feeling chic, exclusive and confident with their finds. As boutique popularity grows along with the surge in online retail, shoppers are looking for their favorite boutiques online to continue to turn heads and be asked ‘where did you get that?’
There’s just one problem.
Competition for online retail dollars is fierce and despite the time, effort and money boutique owners are putting into marketing, shoppers are getting lost in the vast, cluttered internet universe where online stores are opening daily.
Lucky for both boutiques and shoppers, a new company is taking aim to change that. Introducing: The Boutique Hub.
As a boutique-shopping enthusiast, founder Ashley Alderson discovered how time consuming it was to find new boutiques. Clicking through hundreds of social media and search engine suggestions was draining, and after having three babies in four years, she was desperate to regain her style. With a background in Business Development and Public Relations, Alderson’s imagination led her to create an innovative online community where shoppers can easily discover boutiques they will love all on
one site.
How it works:
Much like window shopping at a mall, the Boutique Hub allows shoppers to browse boutiques from across the globe on their website. They are able to search or sort stores by styles, specialties, or locations. Shoppers can stay connected with The Boutique Hub’s social media channels to stay up to date with deals, promotions, and news that boutiques want them to see. The Boutique Hub hosts each boutique’s profile online for a minimal monthly subscription and markets them individually through their social media channels, e-newsletters, and blog. The intent is to drive shoppers to make purchases directly through each boutique, rather than using The Boutique Hub as a third party checkout like many fashion sites do. It aims to create lasting relationships between shoppers and the boutiques they discover.
“Our goal is simple: to make finding boutiques easy for shoppers and finding new shoppers easy for boutiques. We are matchmakers.”
