Full disclosure, this was supposed to be October’s “10 Things” post, but I ran out of time and it never happened. The great thing is, these are all still things you can treat yourself to in November! =D

1.) Your 2018 Planner
I hate to be the one to break it to you, but 2018 is going to be here before you know it. The best planners always sell out by the time December rolls around, so now’s the time to grab one of the top dogs (click here for our 2018 Planner Recommendations round up!). A physical planner is a great tool for staying organized and productive, so do yourself a favor and grab one now.
2.) Rose Oil for Hydrated Skin
Fall crisp weather brings with it dry, irritated skin. Ughhh! One of my favorite fixes are products with rose oil in them, especially the Royal Rose Hydrating Serum [c/o] from Valentia Skin Care. It has Rose Damascus in it, which is one of the most skin friendly natural oils. The fresh floral scent makes me feel closer to nature when I’m stuck indoors and I love knowing it won’t irritate my skin.
3.) A Pair of Velvet Ankle Booties
No words are required to explain why you need a pair of on trend boots like these (these are from Guava Shoes) in your fall wardrobe. Just look at them. They’re dreamy.
4.) Comfy Jogger Pants
In a pair of quality joggers, you’ll look stylish without even trying. Need I say more? You can dress them down for a lazy day (like this) or up for work or a night out (like this). They’re one of my favorite fall fashion trends for 2017. Here’s my absolute favorite pair right now that I cannot stop wearing!
5.) In Unrelated News pins
I love telling you about cool things my fellow entrepreneurial women are doing! My girl Lauren Harbury from In Unrelated News just launched a line of wonderfully witty enamel pins that speak for themselves. Here’s a note from her!
“The inspiration for the fall line came from my girl gang – the league of unstoppable women. I wanted to highlight the empowerment that we bring to each other and mix it with the dark humor that we use to dust ourselves off after a stumble, or a complete face plant. What I love is that there’s truly a pin for every girl in the gang, from the Feminist leader to the snarky snarkster to the globe trotter we are all represented.”
6.) A New Yoga Mat
It’s getting colder (wayyyyy too cold if you ask me) outside which means it’s the perfect time to start or pick back up your hot yoga practice because it’s warm inside. Sometimes when taking class at Yoga Innovations, I literally even close my eyes and pretend like I’m at the beach. So, if you’re finding it hard to motivate yourself to get back on your mat, buy yourself a pretty new one that you’ll be excited to use. This one from Free Thirty Three Yoga Design Co. is my FAVORITE because it looks like a gem and I also slip around way less than on the mats I had before.
7.) A Fall Colored Eye Shadow Palette
There are probably 30 different eyeshadow palettes in my makeup drawer,s and guess how many I actually use? ONE. I have a little makeup bag that has the products I use everyday in it that I typically grab when I have to do my makeup, mostly because I’m always in a rush. I don’t have time to dig through all the other options I have. So whatever eyeshadow palette is already in the bag gets used, and I end up with the same look almost every day. This palette [c/o] that Pixi Beauty recently sent to me is absolutely my new favorite because every shade I need is all in one place! Whether I want a light, natural look or an edgy smokey eye, I can trust the colors are already in my bag. Here’s a few more Pixi Beauty favorites:
8.) A Kickboxing Class
Life’s tough and we get angry. It’s okay. We’re only human. However, it’s not okay when we let our frustration bottle up and then take in out in our actions or words towards other people. So, try letting off some steam with a kickboxing class. Shaun and I recently took a great class at Pittsburgh Punch. It felt awesome to hit things while working up a sweat and getting in a good workout!
9.) HelloFresh
I am the pickiest eater out of all the picky eaters on the planet. I’m 27 and I eat like a child – a habit I am activity trying to change, I swear (although I did have dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets for dinner on Monday, hahaha). We partnered with HelloFresh [c/o] for one of our upcoming He Said, She Said posts, and because I really have no idea where to start in the kitchen. Everything has been delicious so far (I’ve even been tolerating the vegetables). My favorite has been the “Winner Winner Chicken Orzo Dinner”. We can’t wait to share more on our experience very soon. But in the meantime, grab a box to try it for yourself!
10.) Textured Hair
Now that we don’t have to fight summer humidity (maybe the one upside to fall, aside from Caramel Apple Twizzlers), it’s time to crank up the volume. The recently released Grip Collection from Kenra Professional [c/o] helps me achieve just that! It’s so frustrating to have these perfect, flowing curls before walking out the door, only to catch them falling flat later on. Kenra’s line (which has an Air Grip Spray – $17, Whip Grip Mousse – $17, High Grip Spray – $19) gives me one less thing to worry about throughout the day by keeping my curls soft, textured, and volumized.
