10 Things to Treat Yourself to This Month

Whether autumn (and its falling temperatures) is your favorite season or not, there’s always one thing to look forward to: new things to treat yourself to! Whether you’re looking for comfy clothes, hygiene supplies, candles, etc., I’ve got your back. As I do every month, I’ve put together a list of 10 things to help you make the most out of this fall season. Let me know what else you look forward to about fall! Without further ado, let’s dive into this month’s picks!

**This post may contain affiliate links (which means I make a small commission when you shop from them) and sponsored products (gifted items are indicated with a [c/o] and sponsored items with a [sp]) because we all have to pay our bills, and I’d rather keep creating awesome content for you than get a real job. All opinions are my own.**

Fun Pizza – Spend a cozy night at home and make your own pizza! It’s so easy! I buy a crust mix in a pouch that you just have to add water to. Then, I spread the crust out on a pan (it obviously tastes way better when you make it in the shape of a heart instead of a circle). For sauce, I always use Rao’s Homemade to make this recipe extra delicious and then add the cheese! So good.

This Cleansing Oil – First things first, I have never put something on my face that smells so amazing. The Vitamin B Enzyme Cleansing Oil + Makeup Remover [c/o] from One Love Organics is the latest addition to my very short list of, “I’ll never ever stop using this” list of products. It gets rid of makeup and impurities while gently rebalancing for glowy, soft skin. My skin truly suffers on the days I don’t use it!

Lacy Details – The only thing that I genuinely love about fall (other than caramel apple Twizzlers – which I haven’t found yet) is the comfy clothing. Aerie has so so so many wearable, cozy things that you will be living in this season. Personally, I think it’s the little things that take comfy clothes from lazy-looking to publicly acceptable. Like this dreamy sweatshirt with the most lovely wildflower lacy detail on the hem!

An Insanely Comfortable Bra – Honestly, most days you’ll find me in a sports bra unless I’m wearing an outfit that calls for otherwise because bras just suck. However, I recently got the 24/7 Classic T-Shirt Bra from ThirdLove [c/o] and it’s definitely changed my mind about booby baskets! The bra is so soft, creates a smooth silhouette, and the online quiz ensured I ended up with the right fit. I also love that on their website, you’ll see cellulite, stretch marks, and ladies of all different shapes and sizes.

Swap Your Wardrobe – In case you haven’t started yet, this is a friendly reminder to start packing up the summer clothes and to pull out your boots, sweaters, denim, and all of the jewel toned things!

Toner – The other day, someone asked me if I use a face toner, and I replied “YESSSSSSS!” with about the same amount of enthusiasm as if you told me I could survive off of ice cream for the rest of my life without gaining weight. So, here’s my PSA: You should absolutely be using a toner (the next step after cleansing) in your skincare routine because it will exfoliate and clean the stuff your cleanser left behind, remove excess oil (which reduces acne, that’s my fav benefit!), and tighten pores and smooth out skin. My top pick will forever be Pixi’s Glow Tonic.

A Fall Candle – Not only is the smell of this Velvet Woods Yankee Candle [c/o] delightful (I feel like I’m being whisked away into an enchanted forest), but the platform lid adds a next level decor statement that’s so eye-catching and chic. The scent itself is beautifully balanced – a hint of sweetness, but also warm and woodsy enough for fall, too. When I am burning it, the entire house fills with such a lovely fragrance without it being overpowering.

Mules – I’m always a little sad when I have to put my sandals away. With their slip-on and go style, they’re just one step away from flip flops. They are an especially good idea if you’re not quite feeling the boots yet! For the seasonal transition we’re currently in, I suggest styling them with a pair of wide leg cropped pants. So in love with this blush pink pair with the cutest bows, these loafer style mules (everyone raves about how comfy they are), and these cool cutout males.

A Radiant Lotion – The Complexion Rescue Defense Radiant Protective Veil [c/o] from BareMinerals is a lightweight lotion that acts as a hydrating veil to protect skin from indoor AND outdoor light damage. It uses sugar molecules to help block pollution particles (I always knew sugar was a good guy!), and cacao extract adds protection against the damaging effects of the blue light our screens give off. Plus, the pearly luster evens skin tone and adds a touch of radiance.

Body Serum – My legs are so ridiculously smooth right now that it’s such a shame summer is almost over (hold me while I cry because, as I’ve said, I’m not ready for fall). This 10% AHA natural exfoliating body serum from REN Skincare [c/o] delivers full-body exfoliation, leaving skin radiant with a natural glow. And it’s super lightweight, perfect for humid summer days! Pro tip: Stay away from the neck area and use an SPF with this product, as it makes your skin more sensitive to the sun. The best thing about this serum is: I always get irritated bumps on my legs when I shave, and using it has completely solved that problem (I do wait an hour or so after shaving before I apply it). I also love that there aren’t any toxins.
