Ever since I can remember, acclimating my skincare routine to the winter has always been a challenge. Gradually, my typically slightly oily skin starts to develop dry patches and feel tight. In recent years, it’s a difficult balance to find products that keep my skin hydrated and but don’t draw it back into greasy territory. For me, exploring skincare can sometimes feel more like a struggle (my skin is just so temperamental anymore!) rather than self-care, but the products I’ve been using for the past few months from One Love Organics have me falling in LOVE with skincare again.
Usually, a major hurdle is finding something to cleanse my skin with that is gentle and effective. I’ve put the Vitamin B Enzyme Cleansing Oil + Makeup Remover [c/o] to the test and it has delivered! First things first, I have never in my life put something on my face that smells so amazing. Now, this is the latest addition to my very short, “I’ll never ever stop using this” list of products. It gets rid of makeup and impurities while gently rebalancing for glowy, soft skin. The oil composition makes this dry skin’s ideal companion, especially in the winter months. My skin truly suffers on the days I don’t use it!
To put this in perspective, I’ve had the worst cold for over the past week and the skin around my nose is so parched from all the tissue usage. Even still, this cleansing oil hasn’t done one bit of harm to that irritated skin. Thank goodness! You should also know that I have been using this product once almost every day since August and I’m still using the SAME bottle. Every other day or on days where I’m wearing heavy makeup, I use the cleansing oil with its best pal, The Cleansing Sponge [c/o]. Its adorable heart shape may look cute, but don’t underestimate its capability! Expect detoxified pores and super smooth skin free of dirt and makeup after you use it. One of the best parts of my job is that I get to test out so many beauty products, so I mean it when I say that this is the best product I’ve come across for exfoliating sensitive skin.
At night after cleansing, I’ve been dreaming with the Love Springs Eternal Youth Preservation Serum [c/o] on my face and it’s another favorite. It leaves my skin looking plump and feeling hydrated in the morning. It’s really turned my finicky, combination skin luxuriously soft! If you’re going for that healthy, glowing skin look, I highly recommend adding this to your routine!
As someone who struggles with acne, I’m ecstatic to report that not one product from One Love Organics has made my breakouts any worse. It’s also notable that all of their products are natural, organic, cruelty-free, and ethically produced with consideration for the environment.
