Being in nature (especially if I’m by water by water) always brings me back to life no matter what is going on with me. Every second of this week for me has been booked with something and I really haven’t had any time to stop and breathe. I could feel myself starting to spin out of control and the stress bubbling up inside of me. So, when I was thinking about where we could go to grab some photos for this week, I knew I needed to kill two birds with one stone – picking somewhere that would lend itself for great pictures while also bringing me some peace and calm.
The South Shore Riverfront Park near South Side Works in Pittsburgh was the perfect midday escape (we did this fall look at the same spot a bunch of months back) and made a great backdrop for this teal jumpsuit. It’s from Francesca’s and while I can’t find it on their website, I’m going to keep looking and I have linked some similar options below like this printed knit jumpsuit, this striped strapless jumpsuit, and this dark green cropped jumpsuit! And, if I could afford it, I would scoop up this floral teal Rebecca Taylor jumpsuit in a heartbeat! I’ve also picked a few options in other colors in case you’re not all about teal… although I do highly recommend teal right now because it’s ocean-like tone fits within the realm of summer but is rich enough to wear well into fall, too!

I love jumpsuits so much because they makes getting ready so relaxed. They really speak for themselves as stand alone pieces! You don’t need much accessorizing at all and you can find them in so many fun prints, patterns, and colors to add personality into you’re look.
In today’s post and YouTube video, I’ve taken this teal culotte jumpsuit and showed you have to style it 3 different ways, which will be especially handy as we transition from summer to fall (I know, I know – I’m not ready for the either!).
For the first look, I’ve paired this with my favorite slip-on flats (THESE ARE ONLY $4.20 RIGHT NOW) and a simple beaded bracelet for a more beachy, summery outfit.
For look 2 (my personal favorite), I swapped eyelet flats out for perforated ankle booties, which are perfect for right now because the small holes make them seem appropriate for summer, but the color and style fits right in with fall fashion. You’ll get so much wear out of a pair of ankle booties like the ones below. As someone with a wider calf and ankle, I really appreciate options with deep side notches like this pair and this pair because they don’t squeeze my skin and they give a more flattering line to my leg. I wanted to change up the waistline here, so I grabbed an old navy belt I had at home (pretty sure it was off of Hollister shorts that I had like 12 years ago, hahaha) and also paired it with this wrapped quartz pendant necklace.
Look 3 just shows you how you can throw a blazer or light jacket over this to make it more seasonal for fall!
If you don’t have any jumpsuits in your closet, seriously what are your waiting for? The best part is, they are SO comfortable. I’m the type of gal that changes into comfy clothes the second I walk in the door, but I could honestly hang out in a jumpsuit forever.
