Now that the holiday season has passed, it’s time to swap our sequin pieces and twirly dresses out for all of the cozy things – keep those velvet staples out though like these velvet leggings! One of my absolute favorite warm and fuzzy trends right now is the eyelash sweater like this v-neck pullover option that’s on sale right now at Target for $14.99! With whispy stands and a fun feeling, an eyelash sweater’s oh-so-soft texture is just what your outfit needs to turn any gloomy winter day around. This is a look that any gal can pull off, but it’s especially perfect of those of us who are creatures of comfort. No matter what your sweater style preference, from oversized open cardigans and dramatic silhouettes to turtlenecks and cute cable knits, there’s an eyelash sweater (or five) out there for you!
Because the nature of this fabric is on the bulkier side, you’ll want to pair an eyelash sweater with for fitting bottoms like leggings, skinny jeans, or leg hugging leather pants for an everyday look or something like a flowy pleated skirt for a more evening/party outfit. An eyelash sweater is a statement piece, so be mindful that the rest of your look and accessories don’t draw attention away from it! I’m really into the simple look of an eyelash sweater paired with classic denim jeans. Also, most eyelash sweaters will shed a bit in the beginning, so definitely give it a wash before wearing it.
