While we did a lot of antiquing on the way, this was our first day of officially antiquing in Myrtle Beach, SC. We stopped at Low Country Treasures and Sally Stowe Interiors before stumbling upon @leboncafe843, which had the most incredible French pastries. They promised everything was even better in the morning! I am so sad we never had a chance to stop earlier in the day. Guess we will just have to plan another vacation to go back!

If you’ve been, what’s your favorite thing to do at Broadway at the Beach?

During our 2024 Myrtle Beach, South Carolina trip, we visited Broadway at the Beach. It’s a huge outdoor entertainment complex with rides, restaurants, shops, shows, activities, and more. We had such a fun time eating at The Hangout, but other noteworthy restaurants include Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, Hard Rock Cafe, and The Grumpy Monk.

There are also plenty of places for dessert, such as Insomnia Cookies, The Baked Bear (ice cream sandwiches), The Pineapple Hut (tropical treats), and I Scream Candy (candy store/creative ice cream).

There are many kid-friendly activities, including a playground, Ripley’s Aquarium, Dave & Buster’s, Dinopark, Charles Bach Wonders Magic Show, and more.

Honestly, you could probably spend a whole week just enjoying Broadway at the Beach, and you still wouldn’t get through all of its attractions. It’s truly huge and has options for everyone in the family.

TW: Miscarriage | I had no idea how complicated miscarriages could be until we started going through this. Please continue to share your stories either in the comments or with me personally. It’s been really eye opening to see just how many of you have been through something similar. I know it’s really hard for many of you to talk about it, but please know every single story has had an impact on helping me process this. We can change lives (and women’s mental health) but talking about this topic more. For anyone else who is or has been through a miscarriage, you are not alone and I’m sending you so much love. 🤍

TW: Potential Miscarriage

While this is hard to share, I hope this brings out stories from others who have gone through something similar. Before I got pregnant, I really didn’t know anything amount miscarriages other than that they can happen. I don’t think it’s something that is discussed enough, and I hope I can make someone else feel a little less alone along their journey.

Initially, I was trying to stay as positive as possible. However, with every test and doctor’s appointment, the chances that this is a viable pregnancy continue to decrease.

Right now, I am trying to leave room for hope while also protecting my heart.

Over and over, I keep repeating to myself, “anything can happen”. This phrase has felt so grounding because it validates the realistic part of my mind that knows the outcome might not be what I’m wishing for while also leaving space for the part of me that hopes we get to prove the odds wrong.

I’m sending so much love to anyone else out there that is walking (or has walked) a similar path of uncertainty. 🤍

Going to the DC Big Flea was such a neat experience! My jaw was on the floor the entire time in awe of the pieces the vendors brought. There were so many one of a kind, hard to find items that I had never seen before. In my opinion, the event was more of an antique show rather than a flea market, so prepare your wallet accordingly! #dcbigflea #antiquinginvirginia
