Kara Ross’ designs are nothing short of breathless. I stopped by the Kara Ross Boutique in NYC this past Thursday for a lovely fashion blogger get-together, and I was floored by the exquisite details on every piece of jewelry as well as her new Itty Bitty Handbags.
Kara Ross is a certified gemologist and she works with the finest materials, such as gemstones, pearls, and gold. Her jewelry and handbags effortlessly mold the best of nature with master craftsmanship. She is an award winning jewelry designer whose pieces are in museums around the country, and have even been given as gifts for the Obamas and other heads of state!
The Itty Bitty Handbag is Kara Ross’ new design. It features a chain-link strap, a snakeskin exterior in a variety of colors, a leather interior, and a prominent gem in the center. Pair it with a little black dress for a night-out look that is ultra-luxurious!
I mingled with fashion bloggers as champagne glasses clinked, macarons were passed around, and we all vied to take the best Instagram photo of our favorite Itty Bitty! The blogger who gets the most likes will win their own Itty Bitty. And though I don’t expect to win, at least I got to try on the Itty Bitty myself (and consider what my next splurge will be ;).
At the end of the evening, each blogger was gifted with a sophisticated Kara by Kara Ross bracelet: a black bangle with gold and crystal details. I love it paired with my watch, and can definitely see myself wearing it over a chic sweater this fall.
