One of my favorite recent memories, before we all started self-quarantining, was the morning these photos were taken. It was so beautiful outside and it finally felt like spring was on the way in Pittsburgh. It made me so happy to grab a muffin and coffee from one of my favorite local bakeries before heading for a walk along the water with two of my favorite people.
Since I’ve been spending so many of my days watching my niece, I’ve definitely been embracing the athleisure trend. I believe that it is possible to look put-together in yoga pants and I was having a lot of fun bringing that to life in my spring wardrobe before being confined to my house (which I’m happy to do if it means lives can be saved).
Styling a Cute Athleisure Outfit with Leggings:
No matter how much you’re dressing up or down, creating a two-toned outfit with different shades of the same color can go a long way in looking put-together (this is another example with a cute athleisure outfit). Since it was a bit chilly earlier on in the morning, I left the house wearing a white denim jacket from Liverpool which gave the entire outfit a crisp, ready-for-spring look. I’ve already styled this jacket multiple times and I look forward to creating looks with it throughout spring and summer! Liverpool’s denim jackets are amazing because they have a generous amount of stretch to them, so I never feel restricted like with other denim jackets.
