I’m counting down the minutes until I leave for North Carolina in August. Trying to navigate through a growing business, a break up (that’s still hard to type out), and the speedy pace of summer has left this girl exhausted! I cannot wait to spend an entire week with my toes in the water, bum in the sand while I soak up the sun and hopefully get to take lots of pretty pictures – I’ve been finding the most peace lately when I have the camera in my hands. So, in attempt to hold on to the good things I’m looking forward to, and not get too stressed out about the ‘right now’, I’m doing some pre-vacation, but still strategic, shopping and the first thing I’m going to order is a better beach bag! I’m still using one that was free with a Victoria’s Secret order like 10 years ago, hahahah.
Julia Engel over at Gal Meets Glam has me absolutely craving some basket bags in my life. They make any look more summery and I love the contrast between the structure of a basket bag and the flow of a breezy summer skirt or dress. Here are the cutest ones I’ve found.
