After a brisk walk on the trail with my niece this morning, I realized we’re now in the season where I’m not going to be able to leave the house without a fall jacket. After purchasing the BB Dakota Wade faux suede jacket for my fall wardrobe last year, it became my most worn second layer ever and I’m sure that this season will be no different. It is the absolute perfect weight for fall weather – not too light and not too heavy either. The quality is quite impressive for faux suede at this price point (it’s under $100 at all of the retailers that have it!) and it’s SO comfortable. There is some give to the faux suede itself and there are also panels on the under part of the arms made from a stretch knit fabric that allows for moving around anyway that you need to. This jacket really is the best! I’ve worn it countless times throughout the past year and it’s held up very well.
BB Dakota Wade Jacket Sizing & Fit
I tried on the small and medium versions of this faux suede jacket. I went with the small because I was looking for something to go over dresses and summery sleeveless shirts. It fits just right. So, if you’re intending on wearing this over long-sleeve layers or lightweight sweaters, I would recommend sizing up. But, if you feel like you’ll wear it more with sleeveless items, your usual size should be just fine.
