Looking at my Instagram, you might not believe that I spend a lot of time in loungewear. The truth is, the days when I’m wearing cozy clothes aren’t typically the ones I when I feel like getting out my camera and tripod to shoot photos. I tend to reach for my most comfortable pieces on the days when I’m in need of a bit more comfort out of life… which is a lot lately because, well, 2020. The super soft joggers I’m able to tell you about are what I’ve clocked the most time in wear and they’re just AMAZING.

I have some more super comfy jogger options for you below, but I first have to tell you that my vote for the best joggers for women goes to the good hYOUman Jazmin jogger pant (also available on Amazon). I’ve been living in these because the fabric isn’t too thin or thick. They’re cozy enough for me to wear outside playing with my niece on a crisp fall day but lightweight enough that I can wear them when I’m doing yoga in the morning, too. The jogger fit of these bottoms is so flattering – not too loose and not too tight! Also, I love that the elastic at the ankles has a very loose, generous stretch, so they never feel tight at the bottom on my muscular calves. If you’re in between sizes, I would recommend sizing up. I’m generally a small or a medium in pants. I went with a small and they’re just a touch tight. The drawstring is functional on the waist, so I think the medium would have given me just a bit more room and wouldn’t have been too big.
I have a few other good hYOUman pieces in my wardrobe and I reach for them all very often. Each one has held up great after countless wears and washes. Now that we’ve been spending so much time at home and most of us have invested a good amount of money into our loungewear wardrobes, I don’t see the jogger or athleisure trend going anywhere anytime soon. The main difference between joggers vs sweatpants is the fabrication, Joggers tend to have a lighter weight fabrication than sweatpants. Jogger fit also is a bit different, too. Joggers typically have a looser fit through the thighs that taper through the legs and come to some sort of an elastic cuff that sits at or just above the ankle. In my opinion, joggers are simply a category of sweatpants!

I’m also such a sucker for a matching jogger set! It doesn’t matter how ridiculously comfortable your clothes are, if you put on a matching set, you instantly look cool, chic, and like you have your life together (even when you probably don’t!).
