Wouldn’t it be lovely to have a few extra minutes in the morning to enjoy your coffee (or maybe to catchup on emails for us workaholics)? You work hard every day multitasking (not that it’s the bestttt way to productivity, but we still do it) and making the most out of every minute. Shouldn’t your beauty products do the same? I thought so. I am up to my ears in beauty products brands have sent me to try out and from the whole stash, these are the absolute best picks (I’ve personally tried every one) for power packing your beauty routine for maximum benefits in the least amount of time and steps!
The Multiple in Orgasm from Nars – $39.00
This is my favorite beauty product of all time, hands down. I have used it in some way, shape, or form nearly every day for the past like 5 years (at least). You can’t go wrong with the iconic Orgasm hue, which is a peachy-pink with a slight hint of shimmer to flatter nearly every skin tone. Its unique creamy formula and sheer color blends effortlessly to create shimmering accents; contours or dynamic highlights and can be used on eyes, cheeks, lips and body. and we’re obsessed with the iconic Orgasm hue, a peachy-pink with the slightest hint of shimmer.
Naked Flushed Face Palette from Urban Decay – $32.00
Another multi-use bad boy to keep in your arsenal is this palette composed of a silky bronzer, highlighter and blush from Urban Decay. Light-diffusing particles enhance and perfect to give skin a fresh, glowy look (even when your late-night antics have you feeling anything but). Plus, The universal shades are versatile enough for any skin tone.
Moroccan Ghassoul Clay Mask Powder from Zakia’s Morocco – $24.99 (currently on sale for $9.99 here!)
Ready for this? This powder is so multifaceted that, not only can it be used as a daily cleanser, but is can also be used as a detoxifying face mask, skin conditioner, and hair restoration treatment. It’s the perfect skin treatment for cleaning, detoxifying, toning and rejuvenating. After application, you’ll feel a mild tightening sensation so you know it’s working, but it’s gentile enough that it won’t irritate even the most sensitive skin. There’s even a handy how-to guide on their website!
Silk Cream Lipstick in Taffy from MAKE – $25.00
Tons of lipsticks claim to moisturize, but I find they almost always fall short and that I still need chapstick prior to applying. Not this one though! The vivid, saturated color lives up to it’s claims as a double duty protective moisturizing treatment. The medium pink shade with purple undertones can also be used just like a cream blush (one of the beauty hacks EVER). My favorite part about this brand though is MAKE donates one-third of all sales to the brand’s parent non-profit, which supports women-led cooperatives.
Sheer Daily Protector SPF 50 from Exuviance – $42.00
Seriously a beauty miracle in a bottle. This ultra-fine transparent mineral sunscreen comes in a virtually invisible universal tint, which smoothes imperfections and helps natural skin tone appear more even. When I don’t need extra coverage, I can get away with this on its own without an extra moisturizer or even foundation. When my skin is on the dryer side, I do sometimes put on moisturizer first, but it soaks in fast and I love that I don’t have to wait forever for it to dry to apply my other products!
Ocean Mineral Facial Cleanser from OZ Naturals – $22.49
My go-to cleanser when traveling because it’s a restorative facial cleanser. I love that it foams up nicely and sufficiently removes my make up. Giant Sea Kelp Extract in the formula acts as a natural anti-inflammatory agent and also helps skin retain moisture. I find that my skin is more even and the rest of my products in my skin care regimen (from serums to foundation) go on much more smoothly when I use this!
100 Percent Pure Shea Butter from L’Occotaine – $42.00
An ultra-nourishing spot treatment to soften even the driest skin. As the perfect deep-conditioning treatment, you can use it on elbows, lips, cuticles, feet, and even hair! All-natural and certified-organic, this shea butter is enriched with antioxidant vitamin E for ultimate protection wherever it is applied. This miracle beauty-balm turns dry, dehydrated skin into beautifully soft, supple skin from head to toe. BONUS: Teen Vogue suggests, “If you mix a bit of shea butter with your favorite blush, you’ll end up with a super moisturizing, matte lipstick.”
Touche Éclat Neutralizer in Bisque from Yves Saint Laurent – $38.00
The bags under your eyes might not be designer, but your concealer can be. The real question is, where has this been all of my life? The pink color correcting shade counteracts sallowness under eyes to tackle dark circles while illuminating to brighten the area (which makes you look younger). The Apricot Bisque shade nicely blends with my skin tone so I don’t use another concealer on top and I set this with my Gorgeous Cosmetics Pressed Powder.
