With it being our first year as new homeowners, I’ve been looking forward to decorating our home for the holidays that the end of the year brings. Rather than going all out with fall decorations, I’ve been adding to my collection slowly based on pieces that feel really “me”. I want to invest in unique finds that align with my style that still give the classy look that I love. - Switching out throw pillows and blankets to something festive is a great way to participate in holiday decor while staying functional. I’m loving this plaid chenille Halloween blanket and this subtly spooky skull throw pillow.

- When in doubt, you can always create a classy, but still festive look by being intentional with color. Pick a few colors you want to work with and stick to them. For example, opt for a traditional Halloween style by playing into white and oranges and pick an accent color that goes with your decor, like blue or green, to tie everything together.
