Comfy Spring Slip-On Shoes

For me, the hardest part of packing for any vacation is always footwear. The struggle between wanting to look cute but needing to be comfortable is real! Not that there’s anything wrong with sneakers, but they don’t exactly go with every outfit and it’s hard to find sandals that can withstand a whole day of walking around. But, I’ve found the perfect shoes for stepping into spring with both style and comfort.

Before my recent Florida vacation, I grabbed 2 pairs of these adorable slip-on shoes that were on sale for $5.60 each (regularly they’re still only $14!). One pair has a mint dot floral pattern and the other pair is in a pretty white eyelet option. I love them so much that, yes, they are getting a post all of their own!

My comfort expectations were low. I honestly figured I’d just be wearing them for outfits that I wanted photos of and that they’d be easy to slide off if I needed to change shoes as we were walking around. WHOA BABY. These adorable shoes were so comfy that I ended up wearing them the majority of the trip, which included 2 full days of walking around Universal Studios. It gave me peace of mind knowing sore feet weren’t going to prevent me from keeping up with my family! One day I decided to wear a pair of plimsoll sneakers instead and I totally regretted not wearing the slip-ons because the other shoes gave me the worst blisters on my heels.

They also come in black and white gingham and black denim. You get what you pay for with shoes, and I know they might not hold up forever, so if you love this style and want a few more resilient options, you will adore these Kids x Rifle Paper Co. sneakers with vintage-inspired florals, these dainty blue espadrilles, or these pink floral embroidered Toms slip-ons. With all shoes, I always recommend breaking them in at home for a bit or walking in them for a short period of time before you wear them on a daylong adventure.
