First and foremost, I think it’s important to open your mind when it comes to what’s “okay” to wear. When I see these photos, I can tell my waist and hips look a bit wider than in most of my outfits given the style of these Levi’s baggy overalls. However, this outfit is too cute not to share and I felt adorable wearing it! Just because something emphasizes or expands one region of your body, does not mean that it can’t be flattering or well styled! So, let’s leave those thoughts at the door. Don’t worry too much about how to look good in overalls because you already do!

I wanted to balance the ruggedness of this outfit in a feminine way, so I opted for the Stephanie Coast Floral Blouse by Rolla’s (also available here and here). This is a shorter length blouse/almost a slight crop top, so if that’s not you’re thing, size up! It also comes in a gorgeous white lace version and an eyelet harvest golden colorway. Truth be told, I’m wearing this shirt backwards. I liked how it looked open a little in the front as opposed to how it looked with the mock neck when worn in the regular way! What shoes to wear with overalls
In this look, I opted for as my much-loved Sam Edelman ankle booties (they’re vegan leather!). I doubt I’ll reach for any other shoe as much as these throughout fall. They are my favorite! These shoes worked with this overall outfit because the almond-toe shape of these booties elongated the look of my legs.
