Kitty and Vibe Review
I whipped this blog post up as soon as possible after getting back from our Lewes, Delaware vacation because you NEED to know about this swimsuit and this brand. Kitty and Vibe offers game-changing swimwear with a special sizing system to elevate your summer experience and take the stress out of bathing suit shopping. What makes Kitty and Vibe so impressive? Better fitting swimwear bottoms (*happy dance*). I know, as women, we’ve been waiting FOREVER for this!
What I’m Wearing
Truth be told, I’m still working on accepting some of the weight I gained recently. This 70s inspired bikini, the “Juju” print, from Kitty and Vibe has uplifted my mood and confidence in so many ways this past month. The vibrant, retro print pushes me outside of my style comfort zone and the fit has me embracing my new, fuller curves every time I put it on. The Plunge Top offers a classic v-neck look without an irritating halter neckline (the straps and back are adjustable). The Classic High Hip Bottoms offer the full coverage look I prefer in the front with an on-trend cheeky cut in the back. There are so many aspects of this bathing suit that I love, but the flawless way that this suit forms to my curves is truly the best part. It feels like it was custom made for me.
Plus, it’s one of their sustainable suits made of eco-friendly fabric (82% recycled polyester, 18% X-Life Lycra). Juju also comes in a chic Ruffle String Top and String Bottoms.
Easy Swimwear Shopping
The brand is really diving deep into the struggles women face when swimwear shopping. In this Kitty and Vibe review, I’m excited to emphasize that they are really going all the extra miles to help the experience become easier (more on that below). They even have a powerfully written blog post on the website about How to Combat Bathing Suit Anxiety. Additionally, each order comes with a card that instructs you to open a suit-specific Spotify playlist. You’re also encouraged to dance around your bedroom, try on your swimsuit, and give yourself two compliments. They surely are not messing around when it comes to lifting up your vibe!
Other “vibes” (what Kitty and Vibe calls their prints) to check out are Mango (a new solid ribbed style), Ashton (a moody starry print), Willow (a simple by whimsical floral print), and Florence (an elegant lemon print).
Revolutionary Sizing
Kitty and Vibe sizing is unique because the brand offers two butt sizes for every hip size. Traditional sizing only takes your hip into account while Kitty and Vibe’s two-tiered system takes into account the measurement around you booty, too. The “1” range is for you if you typically find bathing suit bottoms sag on you. The “2” range is for you if bottoms are often tight on you or don’t offer enough coverage.
Fit notes: First, I tried the Lilac Gingham High Hip Bottoms in the M1 size and the Underwire Top in a B. I’m a medium in almost everything and every brand right now. However, both of these turned out to be a bit too small. Kitty and Vibe recommends sizing up if you’re in-between sizes. I recommend considering a size up even if you aren’t in between sizes. In the photos, I’m wearing the L1 in the Classic High Hip Bottoms and a C in the Plunge Top.

Seriously Comfortable Swimwear
