Minnidip Inflatable Pool Review
Our Minnidip pool has been, without a doubt, my favorite summer find! My toddler niece hangs out at my house often and I’m always looking for fun activities that will keep her entertained. As soon as I saw Minnidip pools at Target, I knew we needed one. They’re the perfect addition to backyard parties this season or everyday fun.
Our Adorable Pool
I went with the Tufted Kiddie Pool in mint, which is simple and adorable. The standard Minnidip inflatable pool is 5.5ft wide and 1.5ft tall. The warning does say ages 6 and up. However, I only put a few inches of water in it (rather than up to the fill line) for my niece. And, I sit in it, or directly on the side the entire time, so I do feel comfortable with her using it. And, I wanted to be able to sit in it with her, which is why I opted for the larger size.
The vinyl material does feel softer and more luxurious than your average kiddie pool while also staying durable. Plus, their pools are ethically sourced and produced.
My 3 favorite things about our Minnidip pool are:
- The size: I’m so happy that my niece and I can comfortably sit in it together so that I can plan on her level and really enjoy the moment with her. Plus, it’s great that the sides are a little higher compared to other small kiddie pools, which helps keep her contained (for now, haha).
- Quick to inflate: See below for notes on this one, hahaha.
- It’s stylish: Life just feels better when things are cute, you know?
For a Smaller Option
They also have the “Minni-Minni” pool, which is 4ft wide and 1ft tall. It comes in a vibrant lemon print or a sweet watermelon themed style.
Or for something fun
For more bright, lively options, look at Terracotta Stripe, That’s Banana(Leave)s, Ombré All Day, or Berry Gingham.
You Must Read the Minnidip Pool Instructions
One should really read or watch the instructions when setting one of these up, which I learned the hard way. The first time, I tried to use Shaun’s air pump that didn’t have any attachments on it. That wasn’t working, so I ended up blowing it up manually, by myself, which took forever.
The second time, I just used a hair drier on cool, as Minnidip recommends, and it literally took me no more than 4 minutes.
There are a ton of quick, helpful videos on the website for how to set up a Minnidip pool.
Where to buy a Minnidip Pool
In the beginning of the season, you can find these fun kiddie pools directly on the Minnidip website, but many styles are currently sold out. Right now, Minnidip pools are available at Target, Amazon, and Free People. Shop by clicking the photos below!
