NYFW Day 2, Look 1: Time Of My Life

You can’t have the time of your life without looking fabulous doing it. Enter the Time Of My Life dress ($40) from Kiki LaRue.  The elastic waist creates the perfect feminine silhouette that we all love in an A-line dress for an ultra flattering fit perfect for running around NYC for the day. It’s a feel good dress – one that you can always count on to make you feel and look your best! The classic black and white stripes are diagonal on the bodice for a tailored, always flattering look. Talk about a confidence boost!

The Fashion Avenue Dramatic Frontal Necklace from Carolee ($150) let me keep my overall silhouette simple while taking the look up a notch to meet NYFW street style standards. I finished off this OOTD with a pair of Marilyn pumps from UKIES in Black Nappa ($189). These pointy toe pumps channel the magical Marilyn we loved. Romantic, ladylike, and so versatile you can pair with jeans or jewels. The high quality collection from UKIES embodies the fashion sense of empowered women everywhere. By curating the collection to take you from AM to PM and beyond, they’ve put the excitement back into finding the perfect pair knowing that your soles will be comfortable all day. The secret behind UKIES’ comfort is in the patented nanoGel® technology which provides two layers of shock absorbing material to lessen the ground impact that comes from walking and helps to redistribute body pressure. Like any pair of shoes, I do recommend breaking them in first at home before you wear them for an extended period of time.

In this look, I headed to the iconic Betsey Johnson show (that I absolutely cannot wait to tell you more about later), and then to CHANEL’s #MEETMYBOYFRIEND pop-up shop (an exquisite marketing effort if I do say so myself) and also to the Pamella Roland show at the spectacular Whitney Museum of American Art. Our last fashion stop was to mingle with the editors of Town & Country Magazine with Zoya Nail Polish at the stunning High Line Hotel.

Town & Country Atelier Event with Zoya at the High Line Hotel

For fall, Zoya has created two complimenting collections. Flair features six, jewel toned liquid metal shades with a unique, micro-grind metallic pigment fully blended into a vibrant base, creating the effect of brilliant colored melted metal! On the other hand, Focus features six strong, solid shades that anchor a look for fall as standalone shades. The densely pigmented cream formula features a unique, micro-grind pigment that allows for extra-smooth, streak-free application.

After a long, amazing day of fashion, networking, and nail polish, I slipped into something a little more comfortable before heading to grab a late night bite to eat in Hoboken. See my second look on Instagram!
