The Look: Gal Meets Glam Collection Jumpsuit | Report Shoes
Photos of me by Alex Barone
Every season, there seems to be one piece or outfit that I opt for more than the rest. Something that I know I can reach for and look immediately put together as I walk out of the door when I leave myself with no time to get ready. It’s normally something I don’t have to fuss with that boosts my confidence from the moment I put it on. For the first half of summer, it was my floral linen jumpsuit from Gal Meets Gal Collection (it’s on sale right now – more sizes here!). As the calendar starts inching into pre-fall, my most favored outfit has been this oxblood jumpsuit.
From an afternoon at Reginald’s Coffee and a day sightseeing with my family on vacation, to playing a round of mini golf and wearing it out to dinner, this jumpsuit has already been tied to so many memories. The best part? Those memories are really just the beginning, because the rich oxblood color makes it a piece I’ll be styling all fall long. In fact, I just bought this drape faux suede jacket to throw on over it as the temperatures start to cool down! I’ve also styled it numerous times with simple slide on sandals or my favorite comfortable flats, and can’t wait to pair it with taupe ankle booties for the coming season.
One of my favorite things about blogging is that I’m always on the hunt for uniquely curated businesses. My initial intent usually starts with looking for locations to take photos, but the experiences always turn into so much more than that. By the end of the process, I end up with new discoveries, new friends, and new spots to tell everyone about! A few weeks ago, my friend from Victoria’s Mobile Flower Shop told me about Reginald’s Coffee, and once I looked at their website, I couldn’t wait to visit.
Set in an old schoolhouse building, Reginald’s Coffee is the modern, artistic coffee shop that the South Hills area has deserved for some time! It’s so nice to be able to experience this kind of creative atmosphere without having to get closer to the city. The owners, Julie and Matt, turned a home roasting experiment into what has become a booming business (read their story here). I haven’t gotten a chance to meet Julie in person yet, but I can tell she’s just lovely! I was amazed to find out she did all the decorating herself (just look at how beautiful and perfect everything is!). The decor is impeccable and beyond Instagram-worthy. The bright, fresh space with just enough touches of character made my mind feel calm and clear just by being in the room. What’s equally as impressive is that they roast all of the coffee in-house, which means it’s really high quality and delicious! I did get to meet Matt, and he is one of the nicest, friendliest people I have ever met in my life. You can tell these two are out to make the world a better place through coffee, conversations, and community.
The coffee shop is located within the building of the Bethel Park Historical Society (which was actually Bethel Park’s first high school built all the way back in 1905). I think it’s so neat that they’ve opened up the space for a few businesses and modernization while striving to restore and preserve the history, as well. They’re working on potentially putting an event space upstairs, but you can already rent out one of the former classrooms for events like bridal or baby showers! There’s also a cool restored trolley out front. The lovely gal below is Alex, who took the photos of me in this post, and she’s also an empowerment coach!
I teach at Yoga Innovations just a few minutes away, so I cannot wait to spend more time working here. I’m so delighted to have discovered Reginald’s Coffee!
