How do you know when it’s time to pivot and when it’s time to have patience?
I don’t know what the answer is, but I can tell you that I’m heavily drawn towards pivoting (jumping from idea to idea depending on whatever looks fun and exciting at the moment) and significantly lacking in the patience department… which is [spoiler alert] not the best strategy and it, as you’ll see in the video, gets me into a lot of trouble.
In this week’s vlog post, while wearing stunning $17 earrings from 7 Charming Sisters (which you’ll see again real soon!), I’m letting you gems in on what starts to go through my brain when things aren’t exactly “working”. It sucks that progress and profit seem to be attached at the hip and that we’re often blinded from seeing any amount of progress if profit isn’t stepping into the picture at the rate we’d like it to be. If you’ve ever suffered from shiny idea syndrome or felt like a failure because you couldn’t stick something out when it got hard, you should probably watch this.
