Being cooped up inside definitely has me dreaming about past trips to the beach! After reading about a thousand Summersalt reviews last summer, I finally dove in and decided to try one of their flattering one piece bathing suits from myself. I specifically bought it for my Outer Banks trip last summer (which the photos in this post are from). Even though I brought like 4 other bathing suits with me on the trip, I ended up reaching for my Summersalt Sidestroke almost every day simply because it made me feel so comfortable and confident!
The Summersalt Sidestroke has just the right balance of compression and stretch to hug in the areas I need some support on while never limiting mobility. The diagonal seam fabric lends a slimming fit white the colors and one shoulder style give it a cute, playful look. It even won as the #1 most wildly-flattering one-shoulder style swimsuit from Elle Magazine! Honestly, I spent hours debating if $95 was too much to spend on a bathing suit, but I could not have been happier with making the purchase. You can tell by the hand feel of the material that it’s a quality piece that will pass the test of time in my summer wardrobe.
I had planned to do purchase another Summersalt swimsuit (I was thinking the flirty Ruffle Sidestroke or classicly chic Deep Dive!) and take a new round of images last month, but unfortunately, we had to cancel our Flordia trip that was scheduled with everything going on. My heart couldn’t even take going through these photos from last summer with how itty bitty my niece was!
