When I tell people my boyfriend and I work together, it’s always an interesting reaction. Most of the time I hear, “Working as a couple would never fly with my boyfriend”. To be honest, I never thought I’d be one to mix business with my relationship either. I especially didn’t think I’d ever have my boyfriend front and center with me as a second face of my brand. And never in a million bajillion years did I think Shaun and I would be *that* couple posting cutesy photos together on Instagram.
Needless to say, the journey to this point has been interesting. It also isn’t a spur of the moment type thing. I wouldn’t have know this at the time, but many of our previous failures and obstacles are exactly what led us here (to create the concept of our “He Said, She Said” posts). At the end of the day, getting here has been about creating something that gives us life instead of a business that sucks the life out of us.
So in this week’s vlog, we wanted give you a look into the series and what working as a couple is like! We’re dropping some secrets on how we make it work, how to not let our work life interfere with our love life, and what we do to always keep moving forward.
