VLOG 21: New Year’s Resolutions – Yes or No?

A lot of us make New Year's resolutions each and every year, but it's not always easy to stick with them. In an attempt to make mine more sustainable this year, I centered them around realistic habits I want to create for myself. You'll also find additional motivation to help you fulfill your resolutions!

Happy 2018, Gems!

Did you set a New Year’s resolution for yourself? And if so, how’s that going?

I can’t say that I’ve successfully followed through with any New Year’s resolutions I’ve set in the past, but I do like the idea of a fresh start and extra motivation to work on self improvement. After doing a bit of research since filming this video, the verdict is, most New Year’s resolutions don’t make it past the end of January! Yikes!

So, in an attempt to make my New Year’s resolutions more sustainable this year, I centered them around realistic habits I want to create for myself, like texting people back in a reasonable amount of time, tracking what I eat, and being on time.

Chatting a bit more about my own resolutions, what I’m doing to keep them, and some motivation for you if you’ve fallen off track is what you’ll find in this week’s video. And you’ll see a few preview photos from our recent winter running photoshoot, because if we can run in the cold (we are two people who absolutely hate chilly weather), you can absolutely push passed your resolution excuses, too!

What about you? Are you into New Year’s Resolutions? Or do you stand against them? Let me know in the comments!
