VLOG 24: What Shopping at Target Teaches Us About Life

Life is full of possibilities. All the time (especially at Target). Are you allowing yourself to be open to those possibilities, though? Life likes to gift us with things after we've stopped searching for them, or with things we never even knew we needed. Perhaps it's time to take a step back and let life take over?

There’s an important inspirational message in this video, but what’s equally important is that you have to promise you’ll leave me your funniest Target run stories in the comments! Pretty please.

My last Target run, I went in for a foam roller and shampoo. I walked out with with a batman onesie for Shaun (it was only $7!!!!), a Marvel hoodie (also for Shaun), a cute striped shirt, a few food items, shoes… and surprisingly also both of the things I actually went in for. I also bought adorable gem trinket dishes, gem straws (I don’t know what I’ll use them for, but they have gems on them so I needed them), and gem twinkle lights (which I already had, but saw a new color) because that sneaky little dollar spot gets me every time.

I’ve been to Target 3 different times in the past few weeks and each time they have new Gem-themed things that have made me so excited. I didn’t go in looking for this stuff, it just happened. It’s like the universe told Target I need all the gem stuff for my brand and Target delivered. If they made all this just for me, I certainly can’t pass up buying it.

Target makes me so happy because I walk in open to the possibilities, and my outing always confirms that you can’t force things (if I would have went in specifically looking for Gem things, I certainly wouldn’t have found them).

So, the moral of this week’s vlog video is, let’s do a better just of treating life like we treat Target runs – you never know when something wonderful, unexpected, and necessary to your existence is going to be right around the corner.
