Seems pretty strange, right? Well, inspiration, motivation, and knowledge can come from the strangest places. This week, it just so happened to come to me from a selfless, wise old man inside an Aldi grocery store while perusing pineapples.
The man could’ve easily kept to himself and let me purchase a nasty, unripe pineapple, but instead he chose to take a few minutes out of his day to help me out and inform me about what to look for when shopping for pineapples. The end result was that I came home with a delicious pineapple, new knowledge, and inspiration, while the old man left Aldi knowing he helped someone out and dedicated some of his time to someone else.
We all have bits and pieces of knowledge and wisdom that many of those around us aren’t aware of, but how often do we share them? It’s understandable that we’re all busy and constantly on the go, but how much time do we really need to share our wisdom with others? Probably not much. Perhaps it’s time to stop making excuses and start helping each other more.
Or maybe you think that what you have to offer just isn’t good enough. Wrong! There’s always someone out there who can benefit from a life tip or new wisdom or knowledge, so don’t be afraid to share yours! You never know when the words you left unsaid could’ve made an impact on someone else, so don’t take that chance!
So, Gem, what wisdom and knowledge do you have to share with the class today? Share it with us in the comments and we might feature what you have to say in an upcoming blog post!
Never underestimate yourself. <3
