One of my favorite things about spring are the flowers! Picking tulips last year in Virginia had to be one of my favorite days ever! Plus, flowers are one of the reasons why I’m so excited to move to Charleston (eventually). You can catch blooming beauties for much more of the year than you can here in Pittsburgh! There’s something so cheerful about all of the colors when the weather starts to warm up! Doesn’t it just seem like magic that nature has come up with so many flower varieties and silhouettes all on its own?
My Pink Floral Leggings
I never hesitate to bring that joy and magic into my wardrobe this time of year. I added these gorgeous floral leggings from CALIA to my wardrobe last spring and they make me so happy every time I wear them! When I was putting together my How to Start Running When You Hate It post the other day, I realized that they are on sale for under $30 (originally $70!) and deserve a post of their own. Ever since the launch in March of 2015, CALIA by Carrie Underwood has been my go-to activewear brand. I still can’t believe that I was at her New York Fashion Week event a few months later! I adore the feminine prints and flattering silhouettes that compose each piece. The thoughtful designs make me feel stylish not only during my work out but also throughout whatever the rest of my day holds as well.

Styling Printed Workout Leggings
When styling printed workout leggings, I either opt for a neutral top, or a top that coincides with one of the less prodominate colors in the print. I feel this gives the look an effortlessly coordinated look without looking overly matchy-matchy. If you lot at these leggings up close, you can see the sweeps of dark purple, which is why I went for a top in a similar shade.
